The Giza Complex

The Giza complex pyramids, which were built in the early years of the old kingdom (2686–2134 BC), are an everlasting wonder. They are famous for housing the enormous sphinx, the Valley Temple, the magnificent three pyramids of Giza, and six smaller pyramids.

The Three Pyramids

The Pyramids of Giza consist of three main pyramids – the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure . The Great Pyramid of Khufu is the largest and most famous of the pyramids, standing at 147 meters tall and made up of more than 2 million stone blocks. The Pyramid of Khafre is slightly smaller but still an impressive sight to see, while the Pyramid of Menkaure is the smallest of the three.

The Great Sphinx

The Great Sphinx is a legendary historical character that was created in 2500 to commemorate the legacy of the sage and strong monarch Khafre. It was shaped like him and had the body of a powerful lion fashioned out of a single block of limestone.

The benevolent Khan EL Khalili bazaar was founded in the year 970 and afterwards extended between the years 1382 and 1389 to become a commercial boulevard lined with enchanted cafes and shops selling the most amazing trinkets and gifts. Finally, we return you to your Cairo hotel.
